Comparative Effectiveness Research

Duke has substantial resources for conducting comparative effectiveness research, including the following:

Evidence Based Practice Center (EPC), housed within the Duke Clinical Research Institute's (DCRI's) Outcomes, Health Economics, and Quality of Life division

Developing Evidence to Inform Decisions about Effectiveness Center

Center for Education and Research on Therapeutics

VA Evidence Based Synthesis Center

Outcomes Research and Assessment Group, housed within the DCRI's Outcomes, Health Economics, and Quality of Life division

Center for Clinical and Genetic Economics, housed within the DCRI's Outcomes, Health Economics, and Quality of Life division

 

Additionally, through the DCRI, investigators at Duke can access numerous clinical trial and registry databases for the conduct of comparative effectiveness research. These include:
