MURDOCK study enrolls its first 1000
The MURDOCK study – the Measurement to Understand the Reclassification of Disease Of Cabarrus / Kannapolis – reached an exciting milestone this week when it enrolled its 1000th participant.
With a target of 50,000 Kannapolis and Cabarrus County community residents to join the MURDOCK study, the team is well on its way to achieving its goal. MURDOCK study staff continue to educate the local community about the objectives of this long-term health study and the benefits of joining. Individuals who join will not only participate in an unprecedented research opportunity but will contribute to a study that promises to improve the practice of medicine in the 21st century.
