Duke Translational Research Institute
Up one levelThe Duke Translational Research Institute’s mission is to rapidly and effectively invent, develop, and test new drugs, diagnostics, and devices for human use. DTRI, headed by Dr. Bruce Sullenger, provides guidance from experienced leadership, critical resources, and infrastructure for academic translational researchers.
Collaborations between the 'bench' scientists and the clinical researchers of the Duke Clinical Research Institute will allow cross-analysis access to early phases of development to plan how to bring discoveries forward to be useful to patients.
